Figures and meanings: a new section of the Virtual Museum dedicated to Jewish writers

The Virtual Museum of Jewish history and culture of Ukraine presents a new exhibition section dedicated to the archives of Jewish writers. This project was created by the cultural heritage research group within the framework of the «Jewish Heritage in Ukraine» initiative.

The new exhibition hall provides access to a rich literary and documentary heritage. Visitors will have the opportunity to explore unique archival materials, texts, correspondence and manuscripts that document the cultural life of Ukraine’s Jewish communities, the atmosphere of 20th-century intellectual circles, and the personal experiences of authors during times of historical upheaval.

The page seamlessly combines archival sources, contemporary research findings and a fresh perspective on the literary process. It represents systematic effort aimed at reintroducing forgotten names and cultural contexts into the broader Ukrainian and European intellectual landscape through an interdisciplinary approach.
