The Interdisciplinary Collective Monograph “The Jewish Heritage in Ukraine: Culture, History, Literature and Beyond” features articles by scholars of the research project “Jewish Heritage in Ukraine: Interdisciplinary Reflections through the Lenses of Archival Documents, Culture, History and Literature”, implemented within the framework of NaUKMA-UNESCO partnership project with the financial support of the European Union.
The presented historical and literary studies were prepared on the basis of creative rethinking and the use of modern methods, concepts and tools of the various i elds of humanities, such as archival studies, museology, biographical studies, linguistics, codicology, culturology, psychology, etc. for a comprehensive and holistic analysis of a wide range of topics and chronological parameters of the history and culture of the Jewish people.
The research has introduced into scientific circulation for the first time a number of archival sources, historical documents and literary texts, which enrich knowledge and understanding of the preserved Jewish documentary, spiritual and material heritage.
The Monograph is addressed to researchers, teachers, students and everyone who is interested in the history and culture of the Jewish people in Ukrainian lands.
